Water park proposed near Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills

A development with a water park, conference centre and hotel has been proposed on 47 acres of land in Halton Hills.
The Town recently held a public meeting to discuss a proposed development that would serve as an entertainment area for the community.
The proposed development would include a hotel with eight storeys, two restaurants, a wellness centre and spa along with a water park that would have an arcade, miniature golf, wave pools and slides.
The proposed development would be located on the North-East corner of Steeles Ave. and Eighth Line and be diagonal to Toronto Premium Outlets.
In order to facilitate this proposal, an amendment must be made to the Town’s Official Plan.
While the applicant, Gilbach Inc. has submitted the application, the amendments have not yet been approved by the Town.
