Water main construction in Milton results in extended road closure

The Town of Milton has advised the community that due to ongoing water main construction, a road closure on Bronte St. North will be in effect longer than anticipated.
Milton’s project for the reconstruction of Bronte St. North is still underway.
As a result, a temporary closure of Bronte St. North, north of the CPR tracks has been extended to facilitate this work.
While construction timelines are dependent on many factors such as weather, the closure, which was initially set to end on Apr. 24, has been extended to May 13, 2022.
Drivers may use Main St. West, Tremaine Rd. and Steeles Ave. as alternative routes.
Additionally, residents may view all road closures through the Town’s interactive road closure map.
