The City is bringing some ballpark action to Brampton this summer so you can watch the Blue Jays play and cheer on Brampton’s own Zach Pop without making the trek to Toronto.

Brampton kicked off its Blue Jays Sundays series in Garden Square earlier this month and will be back again this weekend with a broadcast of the Jays taking on the visiting Baltimore Orioles.

“Garden Square is a great place to enjoy the afternoon and take in some of the best MLB action. You can bring your own lawn chairs, lounge in one of the muskoka chairs or sit as a group with the patio furniture already setup in the square,” the City said.

The City will be broadcasting Blue Jays games every Sunday the team is playing, barring any cancellations.

Brampton native and Jays relief pitcher Zach Pop is currently on a 15-day injury list but is expected to make his return in the coming days.

The next Blue Jays Sundays game starts at 1:30 on May 21 and will feature the game shown on the big screen and residents are encouraged to come out and cheer on the team while supporting local shops and businesses downtown.
