Watch Maple Leafs playoff action on the big screen in Brampton

Brampton is getting in on the NHL playoff action and cheering on the Maple Leafs as they continue their quest for the Cup.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have begun their journey to be crowned the 2023 Stanley Cup Champions, taking on the Tampa Bay Lighting in round one of the playoffs.

The Leafs are up three games to one and have a chance to end the series on Thursday (April 27), and the City of Brampton is showing its hockey pride with a viewing party of the game in Garden Square.

Residents are invited to come downtown, take in some local shops and restaurants, and watch the game on the big screen on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

If the Lightning wins, they will face off against the Leafs again on Saturday and the City will again hold a viewing party in Garden Square. There will also be another viewing party on Monday if the series is pushed to game seven.

The next Maple Leafs playoff viewing party is on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in Garden Square.
