The Hamilton Police Service is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man caught on video appearing to place both hands in his mouth before touching two different computers on display at a computer store on Tuesday (June 16).

“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the police are looking for the public’s help in identifying the male,” said the HPS. “The male continued to engage the store employee about computer-related inquires and then exited the store.”

The incident occurred shortly before 12:30 p.m. at a computer store on King St E.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 50s, standing 5-foot-9 with an average build. He has short grey hair and in the surveillance video, the suspect is wearing glasses, a striped shirt, a brown baseball cap, sandals, and a knee brace.
