WATCH: Hamilton Police release video of Westdale break-and-enter suspect

The Hamilton Police Service (HPS) released video footage Tuesday (Feb. 8) of a suspect in a break-and-enter incident.
Police say a male entered a student house on Broadway Ave — between Sussex and Main St. West on Monday (Feb. 7) without consent.
A resident from within the home reportedly heard the sound of the front door and upon investigating, encountered the male, who then fled the area.
The suspect is described as a male with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded jacket with white embroidery on the left chest area, blue jeans with a red patch on the left thigh area, and black shoes. The suspect was also carrying a backpack.
Police are looking for witnesses and-or video surveillance footage to assist in identifying the suspect.
