WATCH: Arson suspect appears to start garage fire at Hamilton home

The Hamilton Police Service released a video on Monday (May 9), appearing to show an arson suspect entering a residential garage on the Hamilton Mountain, starting a fire, and then walking away.
Police are now asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
On Aug. 17, 2021, the incident took place shortly before 4 a.m. at a home in the area of Essling Ave. and Upper Wentworth. After an investigation, police and the Ontario fire marshall categorized the house fire as arson.
