The Civic Holiday is coming up on the first of August, which means a number of Peel services will be unavailable that day.
Waste collection will not be happening on Monday, and will instead be pushed to the following day (August 2). All community recycling centres will also be closed on Monday and will reopen the next day with their regular hours.
In addition, all Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed for the holiday. This includes its Human Services offices:
- Human Services Reception
- Employment Resource Centres
- Peel Access to Housing
- Service Access
- Ontario Works
- Peel Living and Rent Supplement
Whether or not you have the day off, have a great Monday, Mississauga!
