Warrant issued for federal offender known to frequent GTA, Niagara Region: OPP

A Canada wide warrant has been issued for a federal offender known to frequent the Greater Toronto Area and Niagara Region.

According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad (R.O.P.E) is asking for help to locate Ho-Wayne Walker who is said to be in violation of his Statutory Release conditions.

Walker is currently serving a six-year, 10-month sentence for weapons offences and aggravated assault.

Statutory release requires federally sentenced inmates to serve the final third of their sentence in the community under close supervision.

Walker is 30 years of age, 5’6″ (168 cm) tall, and weighs 141 lbs (64kgs). He has black hair and brown eyes and is known to frequent the Greater Toronto Area, Niagara Region, Peterborough and Sudbury.
