BRAMPTON’S MOST WANTED: Peel Police hunt four men on the run

Peel Regional Police have stepped up their search for four men wanted in separate Brampton criminal investigations.

To do this police have released a “wanted” list that highlights the circumstances of each case.

In two of the cases, the accused have had warrants out for their arrest for three years as they continue to remain at large.

Police have reason to believe the men still remain in Canada, but could be hiding out anywhere in the country, possibly with the assistance of others.

Here are the circumstances surrounding each of the four men in the words of Peel Police.

Wanted: Kwami Garwood 

On Sunday, March 28, 2021, investigators from the 22 Division, Criminal Investigations Bureau, investigated an alleged kidnapping in the area of Adventura Dr. in Brampton.

On Monday, March 29, 202, the female victim arrived at 22 Division by herself. She was transported to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Officers have had the opportunity to speak with the victim after her treatment.

On March 30, 2021, a warrant for the arrest of Kwami Garwood, a 21-year-old from Brampton, was issued. Kwami Garwood is wanted for kidnapping, forcible confinement, aggravated assault, assault, possession of a loaded/restricted firearm without a license, possession of a firearm without being the holder of a license, dangerous operation of a conveyance, and two counts of possession of a prohibited device or ammunition knowing it is unauthorized.

Wanted: Yassine Nahi

On July 12, 2018, Kareem Watson was shot and killed at a Bar and Grill on Brisdale Dr., Brampton. As a result of the investigation carried out by members of the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau, on August 15, 2019, a Canada-wide warrant was issued for the arrest of Yassine Nahi, a 30-year-old, from Brampton for 1st degree murder.

He is described as male, Middle Eastern, 5-foot-11, medium build, brown eyes, with tattoos on both arms.

Wanted: Prince Reid

The investigators from 21 Division, Criminal Investigation Bureau are investigating two incidents that occurred in the City of Brampton.

On July 14, 2018, the suspect was operating a motor vehicle and was investigated by police for a Highway Traffic Act offence. When police began to approach the vehicle, the suspect reversed the vehicle attempting to strike officers, and then drove off at a high rate of speed.

On January 9, 2019, the suspect was operating a motor vehicle and investigated for a Highway Traffic Act offence. When police began to approach the vehicle, the suspect fled at a high rate of speed, eventually striking a curb. The suspect then fled the area on foot.

On October 4, 2018, and January 10, 2019, arrest warrants were issued for the two separate incidents for Prince Reid, a 27-year-old man of no fixed address. Prince Reid is wanted for two counts of dangerous operation of a motor, two counts of flight from police, and three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

He is described as male, Black, 5-foot-9, 145 lbs, thin build, short black braided hair and a thin black moustache.

Wanted: Jaylen Baylosis

On Friday, October 23, 2020, the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau investigated an intimate partner violence investigation in Brampton.

The victim alleged the suspect assaulted and forcibly confined her. Further investigation revealed numerous historical assault allegations.

On October 30, 2020, an arrest warrant for Jaylen Baylosis, a 22-year-old man of no fixed address, was issued. Jaylen Baylosis is wanted for three counts of assault, two counts of assault – strangling, and forcible confinement.

He is described as male, Asian, with a thin build.
