Wanted 32-year-old man still at large following a stabbing incident in City of Niagara Falls

Niagara Regional Police Service are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 32-year-old  man, who is wanted for allegedly stabbing a resident in the City of Niagara Falls last Saturday.

On Saturday (Apr. 8) at approximately 5:00 p.m., police responded to reports of a stabbing at an address on Buchanan Ave between North St/ Kitchener St, in the City of Niagara Falls.

Upon arrival, officers located a 42-year-old Niagara Falls resident who was suffering from a minor non-life-threatening stab wound. The man was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment and since then has been released.

After further investigations it was revealed that the suspect and victim knew each other.

Police say the suspect has been identified but attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.

The NRPS believe that the suspect knows he is wanted and is undertaking steps to avoid his pending arrest.

32-year-old Zachary James Hill of Niagara Falls is wanted for the following offence:

  •  Assault with a weapon

Police are urging members of the public to not approach Zachary James Hill, as the involved knife has not been recovered.
