UPDATE: Vulnerable 81-year-old missing in Mississauga only speaks Russian and Ukrainian

UPDATE: Police have located the body of 81-year-old Nadiia Nikiforova. Officers with 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.

An 81-year-old woman missing in Mississauga is considered to be in a vulnerable condition and has difficulty understanding English.

Nadiia Nikiforova was last seen walking eastbound on Ceremonial Dr. towards McLaughlin Rd. on July 23 at approximately 1 p.m.

Nikiforova is described as 5’3”, 145 lbs, with short red hair. She was last seen wearing a blue and white striped top, quarter length khaki pants, and light-coloured flip flops.

She is new to Canada and only speaks Russian and Ukrainian.

Family and members of police are concerned for her wellbeing.
