UPDATE: Ashanti has been found and is safe and sound.
Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a vulnerable 13-year-old girl that went missing in Oshawa three days ago.
Ashanti was last seen on Friday, March 27 at approximately 7:45 p.m., near Rossland Road and Wilson Road.
She is described as Black, approximately 5′ tall with a heavy build and short curly hair in a bun. She was last seen wearing a pink bonnet, beige sweater, cargo jeans, and black/white Jordan running shoes.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Ashanti or that has any information is asked to contact police at (905) 579-1520.
