Virtual panel will discuss mental health and addiction supports in Burlington

Joseph Brant Hospital is hosting a virtual panel to discuss needs around mental health and addiction services in Burlington.
“Throughout the pandemic, we have shared what we are seeing in our community when it comes to care needs,” said Eric Vandewall, JBH’s CEO and president. “This includes the growing need for mental health and addictions services.”
“I invite you to a virtual panel about Burlington’s current and future needs for these services on Wednesday, Apr. 6, at 7 p.m.”
Vandewall said the panel aims to shine a light on this important topic by helping people discover available services in the community, as well as to provide a forum for questions and answers at a time when many are looking for more support.
The panel will be moderated by Jane McKenna, MPP for Burlington and Associate Minister of Children and Women’s Issues, who will be joined by JBH mental health experts Dr. Steven Selchen and Dr. Monidipa Ravi, and Michelle Barr, director of Services of Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK).
