Cookie lovers in Brampton won’t have to travel to Mississauga to try Crumbl Cookies when the popular U.S. chain opens its first location in the city soon.
Posts on social media show the gourmet cookie shop with locations across the United States and Canada will soon open its first Brampton location on Queen Street East at Chrysler Drive.
Crumbl Cookies are mixed, balled, baked and dressed in real-time as customers visit the shop, and the chain is known for its signature, Instagram-worthy pink box. Two locations have opened in Mississauga, with stores also in Oakville, Toronto, and elsewhere in Canada.
Crumbl also features a rotating weekly menu, with new creations featured regularly.
Co-founded by cousins Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley, the first Crumbl Cookies opened in Logan, Utah in 2017. The pair announced on Monday that they were stepping down following plans to slow the chain’s rapid expansion.
The brand averaged 276 new locations per year between 2021 and 2023, according to reports, then slowed to 81 new locations in 2024. The first Mississauga location opened in 2023.
No opening date has been disclosed for the new Brampton location at 2462 Queen St. E.
