A Mississauga man is facing charges after the strangling of a woman he was involved in an intimate relationship with.

On Friday, Aug. 12, police arrested 23 year old Jordan Lowe from Mississauga.

He’s charged with assault causing bodily harm, criminal harassment, assault, and breach of probation order.

Lowe was previously convicted of assault causing bodily harm involving a different victim under similar circumstances, according to police.

“He is considered violent and a high-risk to re-offend,” said police.

His court date was scheduled for Monday, Aug. 22 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

Peel police’s Intimate Partner Violence Unit believes there may be more potential victims or witnesses who have had contact with Lowe.

Anyone with information that might assist the investigation is asked to contact police at 905-453-2121 ext. 4990, or anonymously contact Peel Crime Stoppers.
