A local favourite spot serving up Vietnamese subs has closed its doors after more than a decade in Brampton.

Long heralded as one of the best joints in the city to get Vietnamese-style banh mi sandwiches, Che Thuy Nga – Viet Subs Banh Mi has officially closed its doors.

Opened by Tom and Tina Vuong, who are both originally from Siagon, Che Thuy Nga started as a Chinese restaurant but later shifted to selling banh mi Vietnamese subs and was rated five stars on review sites like Yelp and TripAdvisor.

Che Thuy Nga has now shuttered its doors at the strip mall located at 143 Clarence St. Users on social media have been lamenting the sub shop’s closing, with some hoping the owners will reopen in a new location.

Insauga.com has reached out to the owners for more information about the closure but no response was immediately received.
