Emergency crews have been called in to wrangle a lone cow spotted on the shoulder of a busy Ontario highway.
The bovine was seen on northbound Highway 400 near 4th Line in the Aurora area, the OPP said around 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Photos shared by police showed the animal on the right shoulder of the roadway with a line of traffic backed up.
A video shared later in the afternoon showed the cow had moved off the highway and was moving south.
“Other emergency services in the area have been advised,” police say, adding that drivers in the area should “slow down and moooove over.”
