VIDEO: Pickup smashes into Ontario house after 2-vehicle crash

Video posted online shows the moment a pickup truck smashed into an Ontario home following a two-vehicle crash earlier this week.
It happened during the noon hour on Wednesday on Livingstone Street West in Barrie, local police confirmed to INsauga.com.
Police said the initial crash involved a pickup truck and an SUV.
“From the investigation, it has been determined that the pickup disobeyed the red light at the intersection, struck the SUV, veered off the road, struck an electrical transformer box and then struck the house,” police said.
“The house sustained significant damage and a structural engineer will be required to determine the full extent of the damage to the garage area.”
Two passengers in the SUV and the driver of the pickup were taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The driver of the pickup has been charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
