Video: One dead in major 3 car collision in Brampton

A woman has died after a multi-vehicle crash in Brampton.

On Sunday (Oct. 22) around 9:30 a.m., Peel Regional Police responded to a crash involving three vehicles in the area of Queen Street East and Central Park Drive, southeast of Bramalea Road.

Police say, two adults were transported to the hospital with one of them in critical condition.

As of 12:30 p.m., police confirm a woman has died as a result of her injuries.

Officers have shut down Queen Street in both directions, between Dixie Road and Central Park Drive.

Additionally, the Bramalea City Centre mall entrance and exit on Queen Street remains closed, as the  Major Collision Bureau continue investigations.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes for the time being.
