Video: MiWay Transit bus smashes into a car in Mississauga

Three people were injured in a serious collision involving a Mississauga Transit bus and a car in Mississauga.

A Mississauga transit bus collided with a vehicle Tuesday around 11:30 p.m. (Oct. 3) at Rathburn Road West and Living Arts Drive in City Centre.

The bus and the vehicle veered off the roadway and into the grass in front of the Cineplex Coliseum theatre parking lot.

A female victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and two other people had minor injuries.

All roads have re-opened.

Update: Peel Regional Police say a female passenger in the vehicle was taken to hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition.

It appears the vehicle driver and bus driver didn’t sustain significant injuries, police said.

There is no word yet on charges.
