A man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in connection with the deaths of a Mississauga couple has been spotted in Toronto as police continue an intensive search.
Peel Regional Police said Tuesday that 46-year-old Jordan Sangwin was seen near High Park around 11 p.m. Monday and is believed to be travelling on foot.
Investigators released updated information about Sangwin’s appearance and warned the public not to approach him.
Police describe Sangwin as having a medium build, short salt-and-pepper hair and being clean-shaven. He was last seen wearing a grey long-sleeved shirt, dark shorts and carrying a black duffel bag.

Authorities say Sangwin should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone who sees him is urged to call 911 immediately.
The sighting comes days after police issued a Canada-wide warrant for Sangwin in connection with a double homicide in Mississauga.
Investigators allege Sangwin is responsible for the deaths of his parents, Carol Sangwin, 70, and Garwood “Gary” Sangwin, 71.
Emergency crews were called to a home on Briarwood Avenue in Port Credit on the evening of June 18, where the couple was found suffering from life-threatening injuries. Both were rushed to hospital but later died.
Police have not publicly released details about how the couple died, and the investigation remains ongoing.
The deaths have shaken the Port Credit community, where friends and neighbours have remembered Carol and Gary Sangwin as caring and devoted family members.
A fundraiser launched to support surviving family members described the couple as beloved parents and grandparents whose loss has left relatives and friends heartbroken.
Peel police continue to urge Sangwin to surrender and seek legal counsel.
Investigators are also reminding the public that anyone who knowingly assists, harbours or conceals a person wanted by police could face criminal charges.
Anyone with information about Sangwin’s whereabouts is asked to contact Peel Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.
