VIDEO: Jewel thieves caught on video in Mississauga after $750,000 heist

Police in Mississauga have released security video that they say shows two robbery suspects breaking into a jewellery store in Mississauga last momth.

Investigators from the 12 Division break-and-enter unit of Peel Regional Police say that shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 13, two suspects broke into a jewellery store in the area of Dundas Street East and Highway 427. The suspects gained access through the roof and once inside they used power tools to break through a concrete cinder block wall and proceeded to access a safe. The suspects stole approximately $750,000 worth of jewellery and gold.

A video that Peel police shared on YouTube shows that one of the suspects has a very distinct gait. They were last seen fleeing in a silver Dodge Journey with the second suspect.
