VIDEO: Hundreds of students gather for homecoming parties in Hamilton; police responding

Hamilton police say they’re responding to large gatherings in the Westdale area of Hamilton today (Oct. 2).
Due to the massive crowds of students, roads are closed in the area of Dalewood and Westwood as police attempt to disperse the crowds.
“Police are encouraging people to leave the area and those failing to comply may face potential fines,” police warned.
Early reports indicate that a car was flipped on Dalewood, prompting the fire department to respond.
