Rumours, the ultimate Fletwood Mac tribute band, will play at the Partridge Hall in the FirstOntario Performing Art Centre (250 St. Paul St.) in St. Catharines on November 13 with the curtain rising at 7:30 pm.

Tribute bands are no longer simply singing the part. Some are acting the part, as well.

In the same vein as Elvis or The Beatles re-creations, Rumours, the “ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute Show,” brings not only the music but the actual feel of the band as songs are interspersed with video snippets showing the actors-singers as the band would have been in 1975-79.

The show will play at the Partridge Hall in the FirstOntario Performing Art Centre (250 St. Paul St.) in St. Catharines on November 13 with the curtain rising at 7:30 pm.

The show promises, “From period accurate equipment and costumes to spot on characterizations and musical performances, “Rumours” takes you back to a time when music was still an unbridled cultural experience and bands weren’t afraid to put on a show.”

The tribute band was formed in Los Angeles in the summer of 2012, shortly after they finished their residency at the legendary Roxy in LA. They were asked to be on AXS TV’s “World Greatest Tribute Bands”.

The band is comprised of Jesika Miller as Stevie Nicks, Tuzy Ellis as Christine McVie, Ned Brower as Mick Fleetwood, Taylor Locke as Lindsey Buckingham, Nic Johns as John McVie.

Here’s a quick two-minute taste of a night with the band.
