VIDEO: Fire in plaza parking lot under investigation in Brampton

Police and fire crews are investigating a Monday morning fire in Brampton.

At 7:14 a.m., it was reported that a transport trailer was on fire in the parking lot of the store plaza at Bovaird Drive East and Airport Road.

No injuries were reported.

“The fire was contained to the trailer and appears to have started from the trailer,” said police, noting that the building suffered some damage from the smoke.

The cause of the fire has not been confirmed at this time, but police have deemed it to be “non-suspicious”.

Police and crews remain on scene for the investigation.
