VIDEO: Filming on top of the Marilyn Monroe Towers in Mississauga reportedly for Canadian reality show

Filming of people dangling on a wire was spotted between the Absolute World condo towers in Mississauga on the weekend.

The filming with drones caught two people inching along a high wire attached to the buildings also known as the Marilyn Monroe towers, according to a post on Reddit on Saturday.

It wasn’t immediately clear what show or movie the crew was filming. One person tried to ask the film crew but they declined to comment on the production.

A few people speculated it was an action film such as Mission Impossible.

Others said it was filming for The Amazing Race Canada.

“Looks like something they would do on The Amazing Race Canada,” one person wrote.

Another post on X appears to confirm it was filming for the Canadian reality show.

Typically, The Amazing Race Canada is filmed in the spring. In September, CTV announced that the “summertime adventure series has been renewed for Season 11.”

Hosted by Olympic gold medallist Jon Montgomery, the reality show features teams of two competing in various tasks at locations across Canada.

Crews from The Amazing Race Canada were spotted in Prince George, BC in early May and Inuvik in late April.
