Fans of Thai cuisine have a new spot to try in Mississauga that’s part of a family tradition.

Now with its first location in Mississauga, Thai Barn Na is a family-owned restaurant that says it uses fresh vegetables, herbs and spices to create dishes and sauces made from scratch using quality produce.

The new location is the first expansion for the Toronto-based restaurant, and Thai Barn Na says its menu features items mostly from central Thailand crafted with both locally sourced ingredients and imports from overseas.

All dishes are made from scratch and even though Thai food often incorporates ingredients like peanuts and shellfish, Thai Barn Na says they can accommodate dietary restrictions so anyone can enjoy their food.

“We serve halal, gluten-friendly and vegan dishes from all over Thailand including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and more,” The restaurant’s website reads. “Our mission is to provide our customers with the best tasting Thai food in a comfortable environment with excellent service.”

The menu includes dishes like the Chicken Satay (grilled marinated chicken Satay skewers served with Thai peanut sauce and pickled carrot), TBN firied Chicken (crispy fried chicken coated with sweet chilli garlic sauce and spring onion) and Pad Thai (rice noodles, tamarind sauce, egg, tofu, shallot, pickled radish and much more) among many others.

You can find Thai Barn Na’s new Mississauga location at 888 Dundas St. E. or order online through DoorDash and Uber Eats.
