Video: Explosive car crash sends two to hospital in Brampton

Two women are in a trauma centre after a dramatic car crash in Brampton last night.

The two cars collided at the intersection of Mountainash Rd. and Countryside Dr. a fairly new residential neighbourhood in the city’s north end, Peel Regional Police confirmed. Security video of the scene obtained by Kyle Taylor shows a white sedan attempt to turn from Countryside onto Mountainash shortly before 10:30 p.m. May 16.

However, before the white car can complete the turn, a dark Audi sedan races into view and T-bones the white car. Both vehicles seemingly explode into steel on impact.

Police later confirmed the two women remain in hospital in serious but stable condition.
