A video that is circulating on various Brampton social media sites purports to be a landlord discovering what his property looks like after tenants moved out.

Being shared now on Twitter, Reddit and TikTok, the video appears to have been filmed a few months ago, but has only recently been gaining viral status.

In the video we can see people going through the house that has been spray painted with various types of graffiti and squiggly lines. At one point the camera pans through on a statement that reads, “I love my house” while another reads “love U”.

Some of the comments on Instagram indicate the house had previously been rented by students, but that cannot be confirmed.

On Reddit, under the section of TorontoRealEstate, other commentators say that such deliberate acts are common in rental homes.

“Honestly I’ve seen worse. Broken appliances, flies and maggots everywhere from leaving food, sweets left on ground and huge gunk because indoor shoe wearing, piles and piles of unbagged garbages, heavy water damage on walls from flooding because idiots left tabs open before leaving the house, broken everything within 8 months of use,” wrote one commentator.
