All eastbound express lanes are blocked on Highway 401 due to a four-vehicle crash in Mississauga.
The collision occurred Tuesday morning near Highway 10 and Hurontario St.
It involved a transport truck and three other vehicles.
Two people have been sent to hospital.
The closures are expected to last “several hours,” according to police.
Motorists are being advised to use the collector lanes.
Update: OPP say they expect to have Hwy. 401 and Hurontario Street eastbound express lanes reopened by noon.
The injuries were determined to be non-life threatening.
Police say the cause of the crash was a transport truck hitting a vehicle slowed for a disabled vehicle on the right shoulder. It caused a chain reaction.
