brampton crash six injured

Six people were injured in a serious Brampton crash involving a stolen vehicle and a driver who fled the scene.

Emergency crews rushed to a four-vehicle collision at Airport Road and Clark Boulevard in Brampton around 7:30 p.m. last night (Aug. 3), a Peel Regional Police spokesperson Const. Sarah Patten told insauga.com.

Six people, including two children, were injured in the crash, Patten said.

A woman and two children sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, she said. Unfortunately, a dog, who was in the vehicle with the children and woman, died in the crash.

The driver of one vehicle, reported stolen, fled from the scene on foot. The driver, a man, is still outstanding, Patten said. There is no description of the man at this time.

The intersection will remain closed next few hours.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
