Victim of weekend stabbing near Hamilton park ‘uncooperative:’ police

The Hamilton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in obtaining surveillance footage from the area where a man in his thirties was stabbed.

The incident occurred before 2 a.m. on Sunday (Aug. 8) in the area of Delta Park at Main St. East and Rosslyn Ave.

Police were called to the area after reports of an altercation. The injured male was located and transported to hospital where he is expected to recover.

Police say the victim has been uncooperative with the investigation but say three males were seen fleeing the area on foot after the incident.
