Victim Injured in Armed Robbery in Mississauga

Officers were called to the scene of an armed robbery this evening.

Police say they got a call at 8:38 p.m. for a robbery at gunpoint in the area of Goreway Drive and Brandon Gate Drive.

The male victim sustained minor injuries and was not taken to hospital.

Police say the suspect fled the scene, running westbound on Goreway towards the train tracks.

Uniform and K9 officers are in the area investigating.
