Victim Hits Suspect Trying to Steal Bag in Mississauga

A victim fought back in an attempted armed robbery tonight in Mississauga.

Police reported an attempted robbery in the area of Duke of York Blvd. and Living Arts Dr. around 11:31 p.m. tonight.

According to police, the suspect brandished a knife to steal the victim’s bag. The victim subsequently punched and kicked the suspect.

The suspect fled, and the victim did not sustain any injuries. 

Police and K9 units are currently on scene.
