Very Cheap Movies Have Come to Mississauga

While the traditional movie-going experience has innate value (at least we think it does), it's no secret that more and more people are opting to forego big theatres in favour of streaming movies from home.
Netflix and chill, etc etc etc.
But film lovers should note that a day at the theatre doesn't have to be expensive.
In fact, it can be downright cheap.
Cineplex is currently hosting its Family Favourites event, which means customers can purchase movie tickets for select films for $2.99 from now until the end of March.
As for how it works, participating theatres will show a family-friendly film every Saturday at 11:00 a.m. for the next 10 weeks.
"Join us on Saturday mornings at 11am for Cineplex Family Favourites," Cineplex writes on its website.
Watch a family favourite film each week for only $2.99. A portion of the proceeds goes towards supporting WE Charity."
Some films being shown include The Lego Ninjago Movie, Minions, Wonder, Trolls, Shrek, Space Jam and more.
You can see a list of participating theatres here.
