Vehicle leaves scene after striking pedestrian in Mississauga

Officers are investigating a fail-to-remain collision that took place this morning.

It was reported at 11:19 a.m. that a pedestrian was struck at Hurontario St and Nahani Way, near Eglinton Ave.

Paramedics are assessing the pedestrian, who is conscious and breathing.

Police say the vehicle did not remain at the scene. There is currently no vehicle or driver description.

The investigation is ongoing.
