Vehicle Hits Deer in Mississauga

A driver escaped injury after hitting a deer in Mississauga on Monday morning.
“Bylaw is calling animal control to pick up the remains,” said Peel Regional Police Const. Rachel Gibbs.
The incident took place at 9:39 a.m. along Old Derry Rd., right in front of the Credit Valley Conservation area, west of Mavis Rd.
The male driver was behind the wheel of a Jeep.
Avoid the area.
