Vehicle flips over in Brampton crash, one person taken into custody

A man has been arrested following a two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in Brampton this morning.

Peel Regional Police responded to a collision shortly after 5 a.m., near Torbram Road and Steeles Ave East.

Police say the collision involved two vehicles, where one appeared to be flipped over.

According to investigators no one was injured as a result of the accident.

The accused, whose identity remains undisclosed, has been taken into custody and authorities have not released details of the arrest.

Following investigations, two eastbound lanes on Steeles Ave East which were temporarily closed, have now been reopened to motorists.
