Vehicle flees after striking three pedestrians in Brampton

Police are on scene for a collision in Brampton this evening.
Three pedestrians were struck by a vehicle at Elgin Drive and McLaughlin Road, police reported at 6:38 p.m.

Three pedestrians were struck by a vehicle at Elgin Drive and McLaughlin Road, police reported at 6:38 p.m.
The vehicle, described as a white Jeep Cherokee with a broken tail light, then fled the scene.
There is no word on the victims’ injuries at this time.

UPDATE:
Two male victims have been taken to hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition. One male has been taken to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition.
Elgin is closed between McLaughlin Road and Marc Court until further notice.
