Vehicle fire in Oakville closes highway on-ramp

There was a second on-ramp closure on the Queen Elizabeth Way highway in Halton Region.
The Trafalgar Road on-ramp in Oakville to the Fort Erie-bound QEW was briefly closed after 10 p.m. on Tuesday night due to a vehicle fire. It reopened around 10:35 p.m.

The on-ramp from Nikola Telsa Boulevard to the Toronto-bound QEW has also been closed since midafternoon Tuesday. A tractor-trailor and a truck carrying gravel both flipped over on the ramp. The Burlington OPP have warned that closure is likely to endure until late Tuesday night.
