Vehicle fire almost extends to neighbouring building in Brampton

A building in Brampton narrowly avoided going up in flames today (Aug 27) after fire crews were notified of a vehicle on fire next to it.
Brampton Fire and Emergency Services (BFES) responded to a call from a concerned citizen about a vehicle on fire in close proximity to a building on Dayspring Circle.
BFES reported the vehicle fire at 5:36 p.m. today after it had already been successfully extinguished.
Emergency responders initially arrived on scene to find a well involved fire originating from the front of the vehicle.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire before it extended to the adjacent building.
BFES have not released details about the possible cause of the fire.
