Flames engulf car, lanes closed on Brampton highway

A vehicle burst into flames on an on-ramp onto a major Brampton highway on Friday night (Sept. 27).

The vehicle fire occurred before 8 p.m. on the southbound on-ramp off Highway 410 at Clark Boulevard in Brampton.

Emergency crews are on the scene working to extinguish the car which is engulfed in flames.

All lanes on the on-ramp are currently closed.

Commuters in the area are being asked to seek alternate routes to enter Highway 10.
