Vehicle crashes into jewelry store in robbery in Mississauga

A vehicle crashed into a Mississauga jewelry store in a smash-and-grab robbery on the weekend.
The robbery was reported at the store in the McLaughlin Road and Derry Road area just after 2 p.m. on Sunday, Peel Regional Police told INsauga.com.
Photos on social media show a pickup truck at Jay Santoshi Jewellers. The front of the store is smashed.
Police said the culprits fled with an “unknown quantity of merchandise.”
There were no reports of physical injuries, police said.
There is no suspect information at this time.
