Vehicle and residence targeted as police investigate pair of Sunday shootings in Hamilton

Just before midnight Monday, officers responded to a residence on Wentworth St N after reports of several shots that had been fired into the front window.

Two residents inside the home were sleeping and were not harmed, according to police. A vehicle heard fleeing the scene, according to police.

Meanwhile, at around 6:05 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the area of John and Burlington St in Hamilton after several shots had been reportedly fired into a vehicle.

Police say a black Ford F150 with tinted windows pulled up beside another vehicle and fired multiple shots before fleeing the area.

The victim was not injured, according to police.
