Keep rolling up those sleeves Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills.

Halton Region residents are staying safe by getting vaccinated, but there’s still a ways to go before we hit the goal of 90 per cent of the population with both doses which experts suggest will help us reach community protection.

As of August 3, 82 per cent of residents 12 and up have received at least one dose, while 71 per cent are fully vaccinated.

With nine vaccination clinics up and running, there’s no shortage of locations local residents can go to get the first or second dose and gain full protection from COVID-19 and the Delta Variant.

There are currently nine vaccination clinics, eight walk-in clinics, two primary care clinics and multiple pharmacy locations.

As well, many family physicians are now administering COVID-19 vaccines.

To book an appointment at any of the Halton clinics, visit halton.ca/COVIDvaccines.
