Vaccination rates for those in Mississauga and Brampton continue to rise

Peel Public Health has released new data that shows the rate of vaccination for those in Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon continues to climb.

The most vaccinated group is that of adults 18 and over who have received the first dose. That number stands at 79 per cent of the population.

At 54 per cent, that same age group has received two doses of the vaccine to fight COVID-19.

In the 12 to 17 age category, 68 per cent of the population have taken the first dose.

Of those who are 12 to 17, 30 per cent are now fully vaccinated.
