Updates coming to Milton and Lakeshore West GO train line schedules

Beginning tonight at 9 p.m. until end of service on Sunday, GO buses will be replacing train service between Oakville and West Harbour GO stations to allow for construction work on the Lakeshore West corridor. METROLINX PHOTO

Updates will be coming soon to the Milton and Lakeshore West GO train line schedules to make travelling easier for riders.

According to Metrolinx, the 8:30 a.m. eastbound trip will also be adjusted on the Milton line, departing Milton GO three minutes later to better reflect actual travel times. This trip will now depart Milton GO at 8:33 a.m., arriving at Union Station at 9:33 a.m.

Beginning Oct. 18, Metrolinx will also be bringing back certain weekday evening services between Union Station and Exhibition GO on the Lakeshore West line.

A total of four reinstated eastbound trips, departing Exhibition GO at 8:35 p.m., 9:35 p.m., 10:35 p.m. and 11:35 p.m. will provide service to Union Station every half hour.

Additionally, a total of five reinstated westbound trips, departing Union Station at 7:15 p.m. 8:15 p.m., 9:15 p.m., 10:15 p.m. and 11:15 p.m., will provide service to Exhibition GO every half hour.
