UPDATE: Woman Dead After Fall at Creek in Mississauga

Police have reported a fatal incident today.

At 2:46 p.m., police got a call for a person who fell from an edge near Etobicoke Creek at the Mississauga/Toronto border.

The victim, a 24 year old woman, has succumbed to her injuries.

Police say she slipped and fell while walking on a naturalized trail near the creek.

The investigation is being assisted by Toronto police.

No further details about the victim have been disclosed at this time.
