UPDATE: Power outage hits area of Mississauga

More than 180 homes and businesses in Mississauga were affected by a power outage on Thursday night.
Alectra Utilities reported an outage in the area ofBurnhamthorpe Road and Fieldgate Drive. About 186 homes and businesses lost power.
It was fully restored by 11:30 p.m., the utility said.

Earlier on Thursday (June 10), Alectra said it wants to build a new $50-million operations centre on Kennedy Road in Brampton. It would serve both Mississauga and Brampton.
